Hi friends! Erin from CrueltyFreeGoddess recently posted her responses to The Cruelty-Free Tag and I thought it would be fun to participate as well! Hopefully this helps you all get to know me a little better and my favorites at this time. 🙂 I would love to hear your favorites too! Note: Some of these contain affiliate links to help with the costs of my blog. Thank you in advance! <3
The Cruelty-Free Tag
What is your favorite cruelty-free face product?
I’d have to say my favorite cruelty-free face product is the Becca
Backlight Targeted Colour Corrector in the shade Pistachio
. I wrote a full review on it here
. It’s SO amazing and it blows my mind each time I use it!
What is your favorite cruelty-free eye product?
This is a close call between Colourpop’s
Creme Gel Eyeliner (the shade Swerve especially) and LunatiCK
Cosmetic Labs’ Supernatural Eyeshadow Palette
. Both are amazing products! But I’d probably have to say the palette is the winner. All of the shades are stunning! 🙂
What is your favorite cruelty-free lip product?
Honestly, it’s a drugstore brand but it’s one of the BEST lip products I have used! This one goes to Jordana
and their Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lipsticks, specifically in the shade Strawberry Cheesecake
What is your favorite cruelty-free skincare product?
Gotta give props to Paula’s Choice
. I have been using their Clear Kit for a few months now and have seen amazing results! My favorite product from the line is the Clear Extra Strength Exfoliant because it is so easy to use. Read my full review here
What is your favorite cruelty-free body care product?
Definitely my Meow Meow Tweet
Deodorant. It’s the best I have ever used and really works!! Read my full review here
What is your favorite cruelty-free perfume?
This one is also a close call between Harvey Prince
– Sugared Amber Dreams
— soo yummy! Pacifica definitely wins though because I wear it pretty much every day. You can read my review on the Pacifica perfume here
What is your favorite cruelty-free nail polish?
They have SO many colors, are all vegan & cruelty-free! Plus they really WORK and last a long time on the nails. Read my full review here
on their collection.
Would you give away/throw out products that aren’t cruelty-free?
When I first transitioned to cruelty-free, I gave away a lot of the products I hadn’t used yet and then finished up using any others. I made a vow to purchase only cruelty-free moving forward and I haven’t looked back since! If I am gifted something that is not cruelty-free, I usually try to exchange it somewhere for something cruelty-free instead so as to not be wasteful or I am honest with the person. It brings up a good topic of discussion for people and it helps you connect on a more personal level. Pretty much everyone in my life knows I live this lifestyle now though so I haven’t ran into too many problems with that!
Which brand, that isn’t cruelty-free, do you miss the most and why?
I would probably have to say Bath & Body Works because I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss their candles and especially their Fall scents (+cheap pricing!). Luckily, I have found many amazing replacements though so I am not sad without them! There are TONS of wonderful cruelty-free brands out there that are more deserving of my money.
And there you have it! The Cruelty-Free Tag! I had fun doing this all for you and I hope you enjoy reading it! I hope some more of my blogger friends take part as well and if you do, please let me know! Do you have any other questions you would like me to answer? Let me know in the comments below and maybe I can do an About Me post if you’d like! 🙂
