mascara

The Earthlab Cosmetics Vegan Lash Mascara was something I was particularly excited about when I heard that it would be in the January Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. It is all natural, completely vegan, and gluten-free! Plus, they mentioned that it easily washes off with water so that had me sold. As I am currently using 4 different mascaras at this time, I decided to keep this one wrapped for use later so I can fully enjoy it. I will be sure to report back with my thoughts when I can! With a $25 value for this product alone, this box is already off to an amazing start!!

lashea

Lately I have been on a body scrub kick and buying tons of it! So when I saw a little sample of Lashea Butter Whips in last month’s box I was thrilled! Naturally, I smelled it first thing and it is amazing! So sweet and natural and it is super soft to the touch too. I would definitely repurchase this as it was very moisturizing on my skin. I can see this being a fan fave during the dry Winter months or even during the Summer when your skin needs some extra hydration. So happy to now know about this brand! 🙂

wabisabi

Okay. Guys. This product totally stole the show!!! At least in my opinion it did. When I first saw the Wabi-Sabi Botanicals Sagga jar in the January Vegan Cuts Beauty Box, I thought that it was strictly just a face mask. I honestly wasn’t too thrilled because I am SUCH a slob with loose powders but then when I read that it was a 3-in-1 cleanser I just had to give it a go as a face scrub in the shower. I used this product I think the same night I got my box in the mail and I have been using it ever since. In fact, I already ran out of this sample size and repurchased their 8oz jar because it is that freaking good. I think I am going to do a separate review on this gem because there is just so much to be said about it. All in all, it is spectacular and my skin is so thankful that I have this brand now! <3

facemoisturizer

Aubrey Organics always has amazing products and their Revitalizing Therapy Moisturizer sounded right up my alley with all of the rose notes that it has. I tried this product out within the first few days and it was very lightweight and smelled amazing. Unfortunately, it broke my skin out. I am not sure if I would have to give it a few days for my skin to adjust or not but I stopped using it once I saw my skin acting up. It is definitely more for dry skin types too as it did leave me pretty oily mid-day. I wouldn’t knock this off my list completely though, as it does seem to do some awesomeness for fine lines. I think it is a product that is best suited for more mature skin types so it is something I will have to give a go later on.

cleansing balmjojoba freebie

The Jojoba Company is very new to me but I definitely am not a newbie to jojoba oil in general. I am always happy about discovering new makeup removers so the Gentle Cleansing Balm sounds like something I would really enjoy. We also received a sample of their Youth Potion which also sounds very lovely. I plan on testing these products out once I run out of a few of the other oils and cleansers I am using. I am excited to have a new brand to look into further!

Overall, I think the January Vegan Cuts Beauty Box was pretty decent. Although it was more geared towards skincare, I am happy that I was introduced to pretty much all new brands! I even managed to find a product that I now cannot live without! 😉 If you haven’t checked out Vegan Cuts yet, definitely do so! It is the perfect time to start off the new year right and learn about new vegan & cruelty-free brands. And since I already have a sneak peek at the February Beauty Box, I can confidently say that this box is only getting better!! 😀 Stay tuned for the February box review in the next few weeks! <3

Note: All products mentioned above were purchased and reviewed honestly by me.
