With the cold weather upon us, Vegan Cuts set out to include some nourishing options in the November Beauty Box. Read my thoughts on each product below:

liner

For starters, the 100% Pure Liquid Eyeliner was featured in the sneak peek video, which I always watch and love, and I haven’t tried anything from this brand yet so I was super excited. I have heard amazing things from their brand ambassadors but I just haven’t taken the leap to purchase any of their products yet. The cool thing about 100% Pure is that they create all of their products from organic substances such as fruit and they do not contain any toxic ingredients. For example, this liquid eyeliner is made from crushed tea leaves. Pretty cool! The first time I used this eyeliner, it was really patchy and didn’t apply smoothly. I have a harder time with liquid eyeliners that don’t have a felt tip, which this one does not, and those that are very liquidy. The wand is SUPER long on this so that was also something I had to adjust to. The second time I used this, I put tape on the corners of my eye to create more of an even stroke and that worked like a charm. Once applied, this liquid eyeliner dries quickly and does not budge all day. It is also very pigmented so be careful with how heavily you apply. I enjoyed this product but I don’t see myself repurchasing in the future just because I prefer a pencil or cream liner vs. liquid. If you are a liquid liner fan, definitely give this a go.

The next product I tried out was the Mineral Fusion Nail Polish in the shade ‘Royal Rubble’ which I automatically LOVED. I’m a sucker for darker nail polish tones so this was right up my alley. I was really excited because I saw that a few different colors were going around in the Vegan Cuts box so I got lucky! I have heard of Mineral Fusion before but haven’t actually tested out any of their nail polishes until now. The polish applied smoothly and layered well. I did my normal routine which is apply a base coat, two coats of color, and then a top coat. Unfortunately, this started chipping on the second day. 🙁 I am someone that washes their hands a lot and usually chips their nails within the first few days but I was really surprised that it only took one day for a full nail to come off. It could be the top coat I used so I am willing to give this another try with a different combo to see if that helps. Otherwise, the color came out gorgeous and I received a lot of compliments while wearing it! I love that we got a nail polish in our box this time around.

body lotion

Alright, so I’ll admit it, I wasn’t too thrilled to see another body lotion in this month’s box because we just received one last month, but this Indian Hemp & Haitian Vetiver Lotion from Nubian Heritage seriously blew me away. I am a HUGE fan of anything hemp oil so right off the bat I knew I would enjoy this. I wasn’t expecting to fall in love though! I really don’t think I can live without this lotion now that it is in my life. It is SO creamy and luxurious and doesn’t leave any oily residue. It smells amazing and ugh I really can’t put it into words guys. You need it, go try it, and thank me later. <3

hair milk

One thing I can never have too much of is leave-in hair products. I love them. This Moisturizing Hair Milk by Shea Radiance was totally new to me so I was really excited to give it a go. Although the words “hair milk” kinda turn me off, being that it is a vegan product, it totally lives up to all of its claims. Shea Butter is another ingredient that I swear by and this is suppper moisturizing. It brought out curls in my hair that I didn’t even know I had! And it really pumped up the volume too. It’s amazing what a little amount of a certain product can do for you. The smell is nice and fresh too, nothing too crazy, which is great. I am now a huge fan of this and I look forward to using it up and possibly repurchasing once I am done!

herbs

The BohemianBeautyCo. Botanical Facial Steam was also shown during the sneak peek video and I was very intrigued by it. Unfortunately, I haven’t had time to actually use it and relax like I should! haha I love the idea though and I am sure it smells amazing! We received the blend that provokes calmness and I believe you just steam it in water and then inhale as it steams. Herbs and flowers all have strong healing powers so I am looking forward to a relaxing night with this product! If you have tried it, I would love to hear your thoughts!

I hope you all enjoyed my review on the November Vegan Cuts Beauty Box! Overall, I think it was a pretty great box! I was introduced to a lot of new products that I now love, and the value was amazing for the price I pay for the subscription! If you haven’t checked out Vegan Cuts yet, now is the perfect time! Treat yourself this holiday or new year to something fresh and exciting every month! 🙂

Note: All products were purchased and reviewed honestly by me.
