Hi friends! I am back at it with another Vegan Cuts Beauty Box review for you! If you aren’t familiar with Vegan Cuts and their box subscriptions, please refer back to my most recent Beauty Box review here. They are seriously amazing! So, as you all know, in my last review I mentioned that my boyfriend surprised me for my birthday with an 8-month subscription to the Vegan Cuts Beauty Box which started in September. I am so excited to share my initial thoughts with you all on what I received! As a bonus gift with the 8-month subscription I also received an adorable makeup bag and a Gleam by Melanie Mills Lip Radiance (not pictured below). Continue reading to hear my first impressions on the Vegan Cuts September Beauty Box!
Included in the Vegan Cuts September Beauty Box:
Au Naturale Creme Shadow in the shade “Addiction” (full size $20 value)
Derma E Hydrating Night Creme ($7.50 value)
Enfusia Mini Bath Bomb in the scent “Let’s Get Naked” ($2.50 value)
Aubrey Organics Chia Hairspray Regular Hold ($3 value)
So right off the bat you can tell that the value is way more than the $19.95/mo subscription cost! There were also a lot of items included in the September Beauty Box so I am really excited about that! Here are my initial thoughts on these products:
I love Au Naturale products so when I saw that a creme shadow was going to be included in the September Beauty Box I was really excited! I believe there were two shades going around but I received “Addiction” which is a very pretty army green. I am happy I received this shade because I don’t currently own anything like it! This creme shadow is very soft and kind of dries out matte so it is easy to work with. Au Naturale always has amazing ingredients in their products so I don’t have to worry when using this on my eyes. I am happy to own this now!
I was ecstatic to see a product from Derma E in this month’s box! I have been wanting to try their products since I first went CF but never actually took the plunge to purchase anything. I have used this Night Crème a handful of times now and I really love it. It is a great formula that doesn’t irritate my skin. I do notice that my skin looks brighter and smoother in the morning after applying this at night. I also really love the scent! It is very refreshing. The crème itself is very plump and super moisturizing too. Definitely a keeper!
I loveee rose water so when I saw these Norabloom Organic Rose Flower Water Wipes I was thrilled! I haven’t used them yet but it looks like it is mainly a sample of their actual Organic Rose Flower Water that comes in a bottle. Rose water works really well with my skin and makes a noticeable difference in my skin tone once I use it. I am really excited to give these a try and it looks like there are a few wipes so I can try them more than once! 🙂
I have never heard of this company before and I always love a good face mask so I am glad this Lava Terra Australian Black Complexion Mask from Being was included in this month’s box. I did put this to use already and holy moly this stuff is awesome!! It makes your skin completely black and pulls out all of that nasty stuff living in there. I could see every single pore and hair on my face while using this! I really felt a very deep clean afterwards and my skin looked tighter too. Just a little bit went a long way so I can’t wait to use this again!!
This mini bath bomb from Enfusia is so adorable! When I saw this in the box I thought to myself, “Well that’s inviting!” Haha This is only half of one of their bath bombs and I feel like this is a very generous size! It smells great and looks like it is going to provide a nice sweet and relaxing fragrance while taking a bath. I thought it was very cool that Vegan Cuts included a bath bomb in this month’s box because we don’t see bath products too often. Looking forward to enjoying this product in the near future!
Last but not least, I received an Aubrey Organics Chia Hairspray in the Regular Hold formula. I have been wanting to try Aubrey Organics (woo go FL companies!) for a long time after hearing so many great things but I usually have to be careful with what I put on my hair due to my scalp problems. This seems very gentle though! I love how amazing the chia seed can be. This looks like it has some other great natural ingredients too! Very excited to see if it actually holds up. The scent is amazing and isn’t too overbearing either. I am happy to now own a cruelty-free and vegan hairspray because I didn’t before. When going cruelty-free don’t forget your hair care needs some attention too!
Overall, the Vegan Cuts September Beauty Box had some amazing and versatile items! I have now been introduced to three new brands that I have never heard of before and also replaced some of my non-cruelty-free items with better vegan and cruelty-free ones! If you are still debating on if you should sign up for the Vegan Cuts Beauty Box just do it! You will not regret it! 🙂 I am SO excited for the October Beauty Box because the sneak peek featured a makeup brush and highlight! I can’t wait. Are you a Vegan Cuts subscriber? What was your favorite product from the September Beauty Box?
