Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques Pressed Eyeshadow

kkkkkkk

Hey guys! Well alas we have made it to June and I just want to say thank you so much to everyone that has been reading my blog and supporting me! I feel like it has been a pretty successful month for Reasonable Raven and I hope it only continues to grow! I wanted to wrap up my May Vegan Cuts Beauty Box reviews seeing as I will be receiving a new box mid-June! 🙂 So today I wanted to feature last but not least, the Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques Pressed Eyeshadow that I received in the shade “Morning Dew.”

I am always excited to be introduced to new cruelty-free cosmetic brands because there are SO many out there that it’s really hard to know what is worth the buy or not. I have been hearing some mixed reviews on this shade all of the subscribers received in their Vegan Cuts boxes. “Morning Dew” definitely appears to be a dark teal color with some shimmer to it, which may scare some people. I have to admit I was a little hesitant at first as well because I tend to gravitate towards more natural eyeshadow colors BUT that all changed once I put it on. Seriously girls, don’t knock it until you try it! I paired this with an e.l.f. highlighter/blush in “gotta glow” (everyone says it’s too powdery to be a highlighter.. it makes a perfect eyeshadow ladies!), and I applied a very small amount of the Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques eyeshadow to the outer lid. Paired with an e.l.f. eyeliner and Pacifica mascara, these were my results:

I was very impressed with how natural it looked, which is usually the kind of look I go for. It has a super soft finish that isn’t too powdery at all. It is definitely very pigmented and buildable so a very minimal amount is needed to achieve this look. I also didn’t think the shimmer was overpowering by any means. I did something quick and easy mainly to write this post but I continued to wear it throughout the day and it didn’t seem to crease. Overall, I am happy with the quality of this eyeshadow and can see myself wearing it throughout the Summer.

Like all of the other products I have reviewed from the May Vegan Cuts Beauty Box, I did a little bit of research on the Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques brand and was very happy to see how proud they are to be a certified cruelty-free brand. They mention it in a few different areas on their website, and also pride themselves on their organic ingredients approach. All of their products are truly good for you and your skin. This eyeshadow alone has ingredients that helps stimulate healthy skin growth! I thought that was pretty cool to read. I hope my readers are learning a lot with me about all of these amazing cosmetic brands that are trying to help the environment, animals, and humans. When you think about applying something directly to your eyelid, don’t you want it to be natural and healthy rather than full of bad chemicals and animal products? For me, that’s a no-brainer now. Definitely check out this brand and the other products that they offer, I know I will be! Tag me on Instagram @reasonableraven or comment below if you gave this Vegan Cuts Beauty Box product a try so I can see the different looks created with this shade. 🙂

Looking forward to the next Vegan Cuts Beauty Box! Have you signed up yet?
