Hey guys! The next product I wanted to review from my May Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is the Pacifica Devocean Natural Lipstick in the shade “Firebird” which I absolutely love! If you don’t know already, I adore Pacifica products! I was so excited to see that this was going to be included in the May Vegan Cuts box and I was really hoping to receive this shade. I have had my eye on these lipsticks for a while but honestly was afraid to make the investment so I’m pretty happy I got to try it out first.
As always, the packaging is so beautiful! It is a fairly large-sized product so I can imagine it will last me a while. This lipstick does come in other shades but I personally think the shade “Firebird” is gorgeous! I was concerned it would bleed or feather since it is such a bold color, but this glides on more like a lip balm and is so creamy and moisturizing that the color really does stay in place. Not to mention the smell, oh man, you all know I LOVE coconut and this smells so delicious!! Here are some swatches for you to see what it looks like against fair skin:
So far I am really loving this lipstick, granted I have only worn it twice so far. I do notice that it dries out quicker if you blot after you apply, so I wouldn’t recommend doing that. I have paired this with a plain lip balm just to bring back some moisture throughout the day and that has worked out great! I can imagine if I topped it off with one of the Lip Tint Trio’s it would look pretty as well!
As with all Pacifica products, this is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and totally gorgeous! It doesn’t have any harsh chemicals or gross stuff that normal lipsticks usually do and it gives off a lasting color throughout the day. I think I might invest in another shade of the Devocean Natural Lipstick because I am enjoying it so much. You can pick up these lipsticks on Pacifica’s website or I have seen them at Target as well. Pacifica always runs great deals on their website so I would recommend ordering through them directly.
