Cruelty Free For You & Me Subscription Box Review

Cruelty Free For You & Me Subscription Box Review

Calling all animal lovers! Well, if you read my blog I am sure you are one! BUT, if you have some furbabies of your own, this new subscription box will be a winner for you! This year a new cruelty-free subscription box launched called Cruelty Free For You & Me with the idea in mind that both beauty lovers and their pets should get spoiled with seasonal goodies! It is mainly geared towards those that have dogs but if you don’t, that’s okay too. I actually only have a cute kitty but I am an auntie to a few pups that I love and was excited to spoil them with new treats from this box!

Cruelty Free For You & Me is a seasonal subscription box so it only ships out 4 times a year. The boxes are currently curated by the lovely Shermeen from BeautyInAmin and include FULL SIZE PRODUCTS!!! It appears that they typically have 4-5 beauty products for yourself and 2-3 natural goodies for your pups in each box. I do want to make note that while this box isn’t always vegan, it IS always cruelty-free, and they aim to have vegan options in there. The box always has a higher value than the price you pay for it which is currently $49.95. I know that seems pricey, but when you think about it, you are getting all full size products that are from high-end brands which typically range from $30-$40 each so that is really a good deal for the entire value of the box.

I was lucky to try the sampler box at a blogger discount to review for you all today! The Customer Service Team was kind enough to let me choose out of a few options of products that I wanted to test out so I picked those that I felt I would use most. The box shipped out SUPER quick and was wrapped securely too. The box itself is adorable, I love it. It can totally be upcycled into a cute purse if you are crafty like that! Shermeen also included a sweet handwritten thank you note which I thought was such a nice touch.

Each box includes a cute card with product info on the back too!

My sampler box included the following products:

Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator

Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques Lip Colour in the shade ‘Sangria’

Haute Diggity Dog Chewy Vuiton Bone Toy

Etta Says! Peanut Butter Little Bitz Dog Treats

In total just the sampler alone valued at around $64 which is amazing!!

I have never used any Josh Rosebrook products so I was really excited to give this Hydrating Accelerator a go. During the Winter months my skin can get a little dry and I figured this would be a nice face mist to have on hand. So far I am absolutely loving this product. I’m not too crazy about the smell but it really does moisturize well. I’m a fan of anything quick and simple. I literally just spritz this on in the morning and my face feels good to go. I can definitely see myself purchasing this again and all of the ingredients seem very fresh and good for you which is a major plus.

I have used a few other Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques products and loved them so I was excited to test out this Lip Colour. I do want to make note for my vegan readers that this product does contain beeswax. I usually stay away from beeswax but do have a few products that still have it in there. If that isn’t your thing, that is completely fine! This would make a lovely gift! I have really been enjoying this Lip Colour. It is super moisturizing, very light and buildable, and smells/tastes amazing. I really love the shade ‘Sangria’ too. It is a very nice purple shade that isn’t too overbearing. I’m really happy this was included in the sampler box and I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of it.

The last two products included in my sampler were for my puppy boys. I gifted them to my little nephews O’Malley and Oliver for the holidays and both of them went crazy over the Haute Diggity Dog Chewy Vuiton Toy. O’Malley really has a thing for squeakers so he pretty much took over that one. They both enjoyed a few Etta Says! Peanut Butter treats while I was there too and they appeared to love them! Honestly, they smell so good and have such good ingredients, we were all tempted to give them a try! I would say that it was a major success with the pups and it was so fun to see them enjoy something from this box too.

Overall, I am very pleased with the sampler I tried from Cruelty Free For You & Me. It was a box that both me and the puppies could enjoy which I loved! I can see this subscription service being a huge hit with beauty and pet lovers from all over. I’m excited to see this box take off and really grow within the cruelty-free community! I look forward to seeing what the next season’s box brings. Currently, you can sign up for your own Winter box here. AND the team was kind enough to offer a discount code to my readers so you can save 15% on the Winter box here if you would like! Be sure to check them out on Instagram too! I would love to hear your thoughts once you receive your box! 🙂

Note: All products featured were purchased by me at a special offer discounted rate. I do not receive a commission for reviewing these products, they are all my honest thoughts.

  1. Lovely review Nicole! I’m so glad you enjoyed your goodies and the pups were spoiled by their Aunt. 😉

I had the same initial reaction with Josh Rosebrook’s hydrating accelerator. It’s so weird but the scent has grown on me and I actually like it a lot now! That color in Sangria, is so nice and the formula is lovely! I’m sure you’ll enjoy that one. We are making a push for more vegan products, so I think the next lip product we feature will be vegan. 🙂

Thanks so much for the sweet shout out dear! Happy New Year!! Xx

    1. Thank you so much! I agree the Hydrating Accelerator has definitely grown on me! I love it now 🙂 Thank you for the sweet comments, you are doing a great job with this box. I look forward to seeing more! Happy New Year! xoxo
