Vegan Cuts June Beauty Box

Vegan Cuts June Beauty Box

Hi everyone! So sorry for the long hiatus, vacation got the best of me! Good thing is, I have been testing products like crazy during this time off so I will have a lot of new content coming your way soon! 🙂 A few weeks ago I received my June Vegan Cuts Beauty Box in the mail. If you aren’t familiar with Vegan Cuts, please refer back to my first post here!

The June Beauty Box was themed as “Beach Beauty” and had a bunch of travel friendly products– perfect timing for my vacation! I brought the whole box with me to my beach getaway and had a great time trying out these products below.

Now I know in my last Vegan Cuts Beauty Box review I went into detail for each product, but I figured for this box it would be best to just do quick mini reviews in one post. So without further ado, here is what the June Vegan Cuts Beauty Box included:

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

This box featured one full size product that valued at $20, so already with just that one product the box paid for itself! I was honestly happy to see sample sizes because I was in need of good cruelty-free travel options. Want to hear my thoughts on these products? Keep reading some mini-reviews below!

IMG_5944First up is the Emani Eye Trio in the shade “Coco/Black.” This is the only full size product in the June Vegan Cuts Beauty Box that values at $20. I am really excited to have good staple smokey-eye colors, and this also can be used as eyeliner or eyebrow filler! So far I have only swatched these colors on my arm but I plan on testing them out in detail in all three different forms. The formula is very smooth and pretty pigmented. This brand has amazing vegan and cruelty-free cosmetic options that are always highly rated. I am excited to finally own something from this brand!

IMG_5950Eco Lips is a fun brand with a lot of different lip balm options. I was happy to see a lip balm included in this month’s box because I was in need of a good vegan and cruelty-free everyday lip balm. And this is exactly that! “Bee Free Superfruit” is very creamy with a yummy sweet fruity smell. This lip balm is also very moisturizing, perfect for those chapped or dry lips during the Summer. After a few hours it did seem to build up on my lips and then it was time to reapply. I would only recommend this if you plan on just needing this alone on your lips, I wouldn’t pair it with a lipstick or lipgloss because of the build up. Super interested in trying their lemon-lime scent too!

IMG_5949This cute little heart-shaped Coconut Oil Soap is from the brand Bee All Natural. Coconut oil sounded so soothing while I was at the beach so when it came time to shower, this was all I used to cleanse. It lasted me a good 3 showers before it broke apart and really lathered up nicely. This felt SO good on my sunburn and left my skin feeling very moisturized, not dry at all. The scent is subtle, but nice. I am sad it didn’t last me that long because I would have loved to try this on my hair too. Let me know how that worked out for you if you are a subscriber! This brand is super affordable and I would definitely recommend checking this soap out.

IMG_5947We all know I love Pacifica products, and I was SO happy to see them again as part of the June Beauty Box. I am always skeptical with face washes because my skin is so sensitive, but this stuff is amazing. The Sea Foam Complete Face Wash is full of amazing ingredients that are good for your skin. The one scent that really stands out is the coconut oil, and boy was it soothing! This removed any makeup or sunscreen I had on my face instantly and never dried my skin out. It also didn’t irritate my skin!  It comes out as a clear gel and lathers up well. I highly recommend this and will be trying out the full version for sure.

IMG_5948One of the most important aspects of being active is making sure you are wearing a deodorant that can keep up. Schmidt’s is that deodorant! I received a previous sample of this from a friend in the “Ylang-Ylang + Calendula” scent and it is amazing. I will be posting a comparison review with this “Lavender + Sage” scent and the Meow Meow Tweet “Lavender” Deodorant cream soon so be on the lookout for that. Seriously, this stuff really works. I gave it the long beach & pool day test and still smelled fresh by the end of the day with no re-applications! You do have to apply with your fingers, but it’s not that big of a deal. Highly recommended by me!!

IMG_5943 Last but not least, was this cute little toothpaste from the brand Hello. I was in need of a travel toothpaste so HELLO Hello! This worked out perfectly. 🙂 Very cute brand with adorable packaging (that is eco friendly!). I received the scent “Pink Grapefruit Mint” although I do know that they have other scents, and kid friendly toothpaste, too! The consistency is a little runny compared to other toothpaste I have used and the scent is a bit odd if you are a spearmint regular, like me. But it did get the job done and actually freshened my breath better than others! My teeth felt clean and refreshed so it was a great product to have while traveling.

Overall, I was very happy with the June Vegan Cuts Beauty Box! The timing and products couldn’t have been more perfect for my beach vacation. I am excited to have these travel sizes for other trips I have planned this year and definitely recommend others to try all of these brands out. Yet again, Vegan Cuts has introduced me to a bunch of new brands that are all doing amazing things!! You should check this subscription box service too if you are interested in discovering new vegan & cruelty-free brands! I hope you all have enjoyed this review and are looking forward to many more reviews coming up these next few weeks. If you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out via email or the comments below. 🙂

Note: The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a subscription box service for $19.95 a month. I have purchased this subscription myself and reviewed all products in my honest opinion.
